I've been championing Mago for a while, the doubters here took a real battering last night as will anybody who gets in a ring with Mago. Future champion without doubt.

It wasn't an accident that Jennings' name didn't get brought up last night even when it was pretty obvious it could've been. Why just mention that Byarm went 10 rounds once and not mention that it was against another rising prospect, Bryant Jennings?

Jennings is getting positioned as the next U.S. heavyweight hope, and they can't afford for Mago to derail that train.

    Lol Argentina

And Brazil need to improve by leap and bounds if they want to win, though with home advantage you never know, wouldn't be the first time a team robs its way to the title.

Magomed should fight someone like Michael Grant or Sam Peter next.

Yep, this fight really put Jenning's career so far in perspective. He had a close fight against Byarm while Mago just destroyed him, Jennings isn't all that. Best american HW? Pfft. Chambers would beat him pretty easily.

I think he should side-step Jennings. I think he should do that because I think he could beat a lot of guys in the top 10 more easily. That is, Jennings has an unquestionable style advantage. So why not take on someone who is worth more money, has more prestige connected with him and who would be an easier win?

Sooner or later that reckoning - what is he going to do about fleet-footed opponents who want to move? - has to come. But maybe it should be later.

I think he's going to get to a strap at some point, whatever.

I doubt he would have many problems against Jennings actually. And it would be a good learning experience. Don't think Jennings would want that fight though.

Bryant Jennings thinks he is already ahead of Mago which may be true. But We have no idea how Mago can handle late rounds,we have no idea if his power and hand speed will be there. Jennings could give him trouble.

If I was Mago's management I would find an opponent with name recognition. Mitchell is still a prospect himself. I'd like an opponent who held a title or at did well in a title fight. It probably comes down to if Mago's management want to take a big step up or are satisfied to go in small increments. If the heavyweight division is really as weak as some claim it is a big step up would be logical. Don't forget Leon Spinks had only 8 professional contests when he lifted Ali's title and Rademacher went straight from the amateur ranks to a title fight; kind of puts the real condition of the heavyweight division in perspective.

Then Jennings is delusional  Ahead by virtue of what, being american or beating a shot former champ that had been brutally KOed in his previous fight? Mago beat Byarm much more impressively than Jennings did.

Sam Peter would be good, he could test Mago's chin a bit too.

If I was on Mago's team I'd be shooting for Mitchell. We already know that Mitchell has some exposure and I think Mitchell's defense isn't that great and he'd get caught. Mitchell couldn't take that heat the Mago brings. Jennings might outbox him.

Mago can get his rounds in sparring. Tyson started his career much earlier but with eerily similar results. Magos absolute destruction of Clevel opposition is fine by me.

As for a fight with Jennings, I dont like it. Jennings has been after Szpilka and will be looking for another big fight but it shouldnt be Mago. Magos chin seems stronger than Szilkas and styles make fights.

I want Mago to make the rounds over in Europe or maybe sign with UBP, the same promoter who works with Szpilka and Wach. They seem to get much more hype without near the devastating results.

Mago should put Beck on his resume and then put an end to that Edmund Gerber. That guy would be minced meat vs Mago.

Someday Im hoping Szpilka mans up and fights Jennings, but Id be just as happy to see Mago batter him inside 3 minutes.:good

Jennings isnt being arrogant or egotistical and I know him pretty personally since his fight with Byarm in the winter.

By dismissing a fight with Mago he is essentially saying that he's just beaten 2 consecutive come foreward bangers of Magos size.

Jennings seems to have his sights set on Adamek tbh, and IMO, he may just get that fight if Toney cant get licensed(watch for that to happen). :think

Russel Peltz, Jennings mgr/promoter has been trying to get Szpilka for about 5 months now, and if he cant get him he may try for Wach, Adamek, or fight another US HW like Oquendo or Walker as some have suggested.:think

Good call.......And Ive been saying he looks alot like an in shape, dedeicated version of Corrie Sanders.....the same Corrie Sanders ducked by Lewis, KO2 Wlad, and had Vitali on ***** street for 3 minutes before succumbing to an outside beatdown.:good

If you want to test him against a quality but beatable boxer, then how about Jason Estrada?

That's a step up from Byarm without the unnecessary risk associated with another undefeated hungry fighter. It also keeps him in the US for the time being.

Nagy Aguilera would be another good one.:good
