who the hell was that ******* with the baseball cap and sunglasses at the beginning of the video? Didn't have the sense to turn down the TV/radio in the background. It was hard enough to understand Toney without American subtitles, but with the noise in the background it was nearly impossible.

first day at the wildcard...he threatened to kick my ass as i walked through the door. true story.

 

this was back in '02-'03...he had just finished sparring and was feeling good about himself and was going on about how he would whoop everyone in the gym. i was probably one of the few guy closest to his size in the gym so he targeted me as i walked in with my bag over my shoulder. he said..."u can get ur ass kicked too!" i laughed it off...but he was serious. he's cool ppl and i've talked to him plenty of times since. i know cats just like him that talk mad ****. it comes with the territory and is usually just that...talk. thing about james though....he walks it like he talks it.

I would like to see Toney retire, but have no choice but to respect what he's done in boxing and can't hate the man for getting decent fights still.
