    PS - I will say this though, RJJ is his prime would had given David a good run for his money on David's own weight.......

    If there's a David Haye thread then it's guaranteed you'll be in it. You can't help yourself, no matter which way you try to paint it you're as big a Haye fan as there is.

    The moment Lennox Lewis retired, the heavyweight division sagged. You couldn’t find a single fighter in it worth staying up for. The whole scene was dire. It was dead.

    But in the four years Haye’s been in it, he and the matches he’s been in have been the most lucrative and talked about events outside of Pacquiao and Mayweather. He did that alone. He single-handedly made a crappy division relevant again. All of the biggest fights in the past 4 years have involved him:
    • Haye vs. Valuev
    • Haye vs. Wladimir
    • Haye vs. Chisora
    ****, even the Ruiz and Harrison fights generated more interest than any other heavyweight fight (including the Klitschkos!). That is something to be proud of. It’s not easy carrying a whole weightclass on your back by yourself.

    What it perfectly illustrates is that Haye was only highly mentioned in relation to Klitschko's name. Withouth Klitschko he's a local star losing in popularity to the likes of Ricky Hatton.

    Wlad is by far

    everybody was talking about him even before Haye showed up then it just made Wlad even more talked about

    Wlad still is getting talked about there are probably way more threads made about him everyday than there are Haye
