Off the top of my head on who they both fought.
    Who do you think?

    Tyson beat -
    Spinks
    Berbick
    Bruno
    Tubbs
    Holmes
    Ruddock
    Thomas

    Lewis beat -
    Holyfield
    Bruno
    Mercer
    Morrison
    McCall
    Mason
    Mavrovic
    Briggs
    Rahman
    Tua
    V Klitschko

So who had the better resume?
I wonder if Lewis pips it with Klitschko and Holyfield, but then Tyson has Spinks and Berbick

    Who have you got?

I did leave Tyson off Lewis's as Tyson hadnt had many fighters in alot of years leading up and didnt seem to be the same fighter he was.
Still it was a real good win for Lewis

Galota and grant big wins for lewis at the time imo, especially the way lewis completely smashed them to smitherines.

thats true. Grant was expected to take the title to America and Golota had been busting Bowe up before being DQ twice

    Lewis by a country mile.

Tysons best win was Holmes, the only HW on Tysons resume who could even challenge for a title in the 90s-present.:deal

You also missed Ruddock who lasted less than 2 rounds with Lewis, but had 19 with Tyson.

spot on Bailmeister, grant was another one of those carefully built up american hype jobs and lewis smashed his disgusting glass jaw to smitherines by grabbing the back of his scrawny neck and driving one of those ferocious, maximum power uppercuts into grants gormless chops with mouth watering precision :lol::lol::rofl:patsch

Add Grant and Golota onto Lewis' resume and he wins hands down. I don't rate Tyson's win over Holmes very highly, Larry was ring rusted, past his best and low on confidence going into that fight.

Looking at those opponents, Holyfield, Bruno, Mercer, Morrison, Rahman, Mccall and V.Klitschko have all won HW titles, and Briggs

On Tyson's list of opponents, Berbick, Spinks, Holmes, Thomas and Bruno had won HW titles, however Thomas and Holmes were well past their best. Spinks was a natural LHW, and Berbick wasn't a great fighter.

Mike got dominated by Holyfield, who Lennox beat a couple of years later. I don't put too much stock into the Lewis-Tyson fight.

I rate Lennox higher, and I also think he beats Mike prime for prime.

I also rate Holyfield higher than Tyson, on both resume and H2H.
