Mares is there to be hit and Nonito will hit him and hurt him. He will KO Mares just like he did Montiel. Rigo and Moreno will be big problems for Donaire, both would beat mares imo also.

Mares/Agbeko I is the blue print to KO Mares. He clearly showed how badly he can be countered with the right hand of his jab and I expect Donaire to use his height and reach to not only counter the **** out of Mares aggression, but do so within 5 or 6. Rigo would present a different problem in that Rigo is a counter puncher all the way through. He's patient and Nonito will have to be the aggressor which he's not the greatest at and if slower fighters like Mathebula and Vasquez can catch him, Rigo might have a field day, but Rigo is INCREDIBLY untested. Donaire might show what experience overcomes in terms of skill level goes. Moreno's lack of power would be his downfall and I see a late rounds KO or close decision for Donaire. Mares would make Donaire look like the second coming. Bad fight for Abner.

At that position when Mares delivers his body shot Nonito will be having a field day with his patented devastating left cross. Mares would end up in the hospital.
Donaire is known to perform in big fights so I will not be surprised if he does manage to school Mares. But at the moment Garcia is killing him, he hasnt progressed since Montiel and this is Mares's biggest opportunity to beat Nonito.
