These are the four guys that I hear about the most from boxing pundits and rabid boxing fans across sites in regards to h2h match ups based on their abilities and fighting styles.

    Best of 3 trilogies
    Prime Lewis
    Prime Vitali
    Prime Tyson
    Prime Ali

70's Foreman deserves a mention, but the above four had the most fan support.

So who will win the most 'best of 3' trilogies?

I got Prime Lewis followed by Prime Tyson-Vitali

Vitali is way under estimated by some, he is better then Wladimir in terms of h2h abilities.

    Ali finishes a distance fourth

Ali get's the better of them all.
Lewis get's the better of Vitali and Tyson but loses to Ali.
Tyson get's the better of Vitali but loses to Lewis and Ali.
Vitali get's the better of no one.

wait a sec did i type this because it is the only possible answer with the 4 guys given. However, any thread about heavyweight greatness with out Joe Louis is not really a thread about Heavyweight Greatness:bart

    Respect Joe Louis

but this is not about HW Greatness. But about h2h.

You can definitely make a educated push for Louis among the H2H Goats.

But a huge amount of fans do not have him as a h2h monster. Nobody doubt he's one of the best heavyweights

but I don't see Joe beating either K2
    or Lewis.

I'll say it now, rather than waiting 20 yrs for everyone else to come around.......

Lewis is the GOAT. Even if Vitali did beat him in a rematch, the first one still goes down as TKO6.

    Tyson
    Holy
    Ruddock
    Vitali
    Tua
    Rahman
    Grant
    Briggs
    McCall
    Mercer
    Morrison
    Golota

He cleaned out a tough era and literally chased the #4 HW of his era away from his title.:deal

:patsch Lewis isn't even close to being GOAT or even the best at heavyweight
Lewis beat Tyson and Holyfield when both were shot and his best win is Vitali
Compare that to Ali who beat Patterson,Liston,Foreman, and Frazier. And there is NO contest.

I think he means head to head? Lewis is a ****ing nightmare for anyone in his prime but I think Ali just beats him.

Exactly. Lewis loved beating old guys or drug addicts. Ali fought prime ATG's and still won. Lewis is so overrated. Good fighter yes but overrated.

Don't have a picture of him on my wall for no reason....

The guy made boxing an artform.

I don't even have to mention his name and you know who it is... that's proof in itself...

Sarcastic comments are incoming I predict also.
