Lucian Bute vs Michael Nunn at SMW

    Completely different story. Tyson took a horrific beating for ten rounds. Bute was hurt from the first punch that landed and was being wobbled by Jabs and every other shot that landed. We now know why he was a stay-at-home disgrace for so long and that reason is the Fact that his Chin is utter garbage.

    Nunn didn't carry the thudding power or style of Froch, so I don't see a direct comparison between the two. He did, however, have really fast hands and stunned guys with shots they didn't see, or see in time to defend.

    I think Nunn would move laterally, keeping Bute from setting to fire that vicous body shot and uppercut, while landing several fast, hard right hands. It takes a while, but eventually Bute begins to fade and gets TKO'd late in the bout.

    Remember that Nunn looked good against alot of smaler fighters and Nunn wasnt ever a fantastic SMW.

    Highlight videos are very misleading, look at this one for Bute

    Well like I said, highlight videos in all ways are misleading.

    I wonder though if Bute could land that KO shot on Nunn

    Second to Nunn was light years better than Bute it would be a highlight reel KO no doubt.:deal

    You guys using one off night as a judgement for his entire career. Let's see if he can come back first before saying he's nothing more then a journeyman bum

    What makes you think a guy who has fought as limited as opposition as Bute has can beat a proven guy like Nunn? Do you really know anything about Nunn? Because Bute isn't in his class.

    What did Nunn do at SMW that makes you think he and Bute are so far apart? Dont get me wrong, because Nunn was very skilled, but alot of those skills get highlighted against smaller fighters when he was a MW.
