    The dude's really young still and he's coming along. Looks like he has a bunch of skill and some power. No reason to hate on the guy.

    This is what happens when you 'make' an untested young fighter a champ and PPV fighter too soon. Anyone deemed dangerous and too unknown will get tossed on the back burner for a 'name' fighter.

    The kid is very good, and IMHO, doesn't need and should NOT be protected by GBP as he is.

    I think you are being harsh on him and Holmes. Holmes had no choice but to fight Ali because of Don King. Canelo is only a titlist barely out of his teens, these trinkets mean **** today. nobody considers him the Champ but one of the top guys at 154. GBP is building a career for Canelo and they are doing it the right way by giving him increasingly difficult opposition. Within the next 2-3 years he will be fighting all the top guys

    They actually tried to make a decent fight this time around, so I give them a little slack. But should he be fighting Lara or K9 to unify the title? Yes. It's not like either of those guys is much better than the two fights that fell off.

    i say let canelo fight broner!!! it would never happen this early in their careers but i give the edge to canelo. he beat ponce deleon handily yet broner had problems w him. WAR CANELO
