Has Arum even made a fight that anyone wanted to see in the past 10 years?

Hell no. Hockey fans are a much different group than Lakers fans, plus the area around Staples has improved dramatically.

For the record, I live 45 miles south in Huntington Beach (Orange County) and only venture up to LA on rare occassions.

Good to see that there are still knowledgeable boxing fans left in ESB.

You've got Mares and Rigo ready and willing and we have to settle for Arce? Rigo would probably fight for half of what Arce will make, then again Arce will bring out alot more people, then again Mares would bring out a whole lot more than Arce.

pretty pathetic considering there's Nishioka, Rigo and Mares all dying for a fight with Nonito and the fact that Nonito said he wanted fights with them after the Mathebula fight. Hella lame, not quite as bad as Mayorga for Canelo but pretty ****ing disapointing...... at least Nonito will look good vs Arce since Arce will bring the fight to him and he has the chance to catch him with something nasty whcih I'm sure he will..... Nonito's had some stinkers as of late so if he has another impressive KO vs Arce he ups the interest in a Rigo fight but there's really no excuse for a longtime champ like Donaire for ducking these 3 guys.

    Don't blame Nonito people.

Didn't he made an effort to get out of TR and instead got his career stalled?

We might finally get what we wanted to see by 2013.

If Donaire gets past Arce. I won't count him out in any way to be honest.

can't beleive there's idiots claiming Arce is ducking the Rojas rematch though........newsflash morons: Donaire is eons above Rojas, it ain't ducking when you choose to fight a much more difficult fight vs a much better and much more popular fighter....****ing dummies!

Although it is really weird that he let go of his belt at 122 when it was supposed to be challenge by Donaire and now he's taking the fight as a challenger.
