Just heard from a source within struggling Boxnation that two days prior to the Klitschko vs Thompson 2 fight saw record subscriptions come in for the channel and that they've now been saved from bankruptcy.

Are you European? Don't sound like you are.

First off the David Beckham brand has long been surpassed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi already, yet the ignorant article is still mentioning Beckham

Beckham was last relevant in Europe oh 5-7 years ago.

He can't even make the god damn under 21 team these days.

2nd off. Anyone that think Wladimir is >then Soccer in Europe

needs to shoot himself or herself in the face

as i can provide links of TV Ratings in Europe that have Soccer Games doing 20x the ratings of Klithscko Fights.

Agree! And I am a Klitschko fan. Messi, CR7 and even Rooney are all bigger in europe. Especially UK. Football will never be surpassed by another sport in europe.

So it's nothing to do with fans subscribing before the price goes up by 33% due to the biggest British heavyweight fight in a long time? And also pubs now being able to get the channel?

If Wlad was a draw, Sky would have kept his contract but they didn't. Instead, they let him fight on BoxNation and as a result, no media company in Britain was talking about Wlad/Thompson.

The facts speak for themselves. The number of subs rocketed up just before the W. Klitschko vs Thompson fight.

    Just before Haye/Chisora :deal

The Sky numbers were huge, by the way. If Wlad/Thompson got 10,000 viewers I'd be shocked.
