Leonard admits he waited until he saw changes in Hagler. To me, that takes a little shine off of what is a narrow victory at best.

I was a huge Hagler guy, so my bias might come into play here, but I think there is no doubt Hagler beats Leonard any time prior to when they met; he may have beaten him that night.

 

We had to go through some drivel about Hagler not taking a rematch that was never on the table.
