    If the essay can take Alvarez's punch I think he can knock Alvarez out. Little Cotto rocked him and Lopez just broke Ortiz's jaw.

    a year and a half ago this guy was fighting 8-rounders at 140.

    I've seen this news Tweeted from SteveKim akapo (MaxBoxing), BleacherReport and 4BoxingNews, in the last hour. I think this might actually be legit :yikes

    wow that will be a good night but it might be overhyped because jc weighs like 20 lbs more than sergio and canelo is like 20 lbs bigger than josesito. it sounds like a great card on paper but i feel that jc and canelo have an unfair advantage.

    Josesito Lopez should be allowed to take all the PEDs he wants to try and even out the playing field.

    Honestly i would rather prefer Mayorga to fight Alvarez.

    A terrible matchup, but still, a win-win for Lopez:

    If he somehow manages to avoid Canelo's power, even if he just gets a decision, he's an instant superstar.

    If he loses, but goes down swinging (which you KNOW he'll do) his stock STILL rises.

    And if Lopez were to pull off the upset, imagine how much we will enjoy Canelo's complete humiliation. It will be better than Haye-Wlad.
