    Very....very true,Primadonna. Some fools still have this vision of Ali getting pummelled for seven rounds,then suddenly waking up !

    What 'brilliant and intelligent style' did Muhammad Ali use versus Rudi Lubbers.

    That 12-Round 'snorefest' that he fought, in October 1973, 1-year before fighting in Zaire.

    I missed it, because I fell asleep after the 4th Round.

    I agree completely and I'm not the biggest Ali fan on earth (more of a Frazier fan). Ali would've won 10 fights out of 10 against Big George. He had the edge mentally and was one of the only guy who didn't fear George's power. He slipped his punches to land his straight right over and over.

    Ali was nursing his right hand during that bout with the minor league Dutchman. So he literally beat Rudi with one hand ! Reg Gutteridge's inter-round interview with Muhammad was the only remarkable factor in this bout. A snorefest,as you say.

    I'm not saying he was, but he sure as hell looked it.

    George was getting more and more tired as the fight went on. Of course he looked drugged !
