That said, if he made a statement saying he considered himself Irish and not English, I would accept him 100%. But if he tries to claim both I wouldn't consider him Irish. Just my opinion. Yes, I agree nationality is not black and white, that's why a fighter should choose one if he wants acceptance and wants to fight for the belts. They wouldn't let Cascarino play for both Ireland and England now would they. Well since your father moved over here at 13 and has an Irish passport, but also was born and raised in England I'd say he has a claim on both, so if he considers himself Irish then as far as I'm concerned he is Irish. Fs, bui is going to strip fury of irish heavyweight title. Isn't this the same title that Kevin Mcbride held for 15 years while he was living in America?
