You can still get plenty of protein from beans, nuts etc. Seems to be working for him! He only does it during training camp i believe.
Not too sure how it works. I was on a certain diet for a while, and I don't know how you can get quality protein without meat. Should read more into it really.
Grains & Pulses have different proteins, by combining them you get almost all the nutrients you get from meat but without the by-products What Timmy cant get from non-meat sources he gets from supplements
Spirulina, seriously! It's a blue-green algae with about 60% of it protein. Hemp protein too, as well as tofu, tempeh, chickpeas, nuts, lentils, black beans, etc.. Obviously neither taste as nice as fried chicken or a quarter pounder but it's a much healthier alternative. I've already lost over half a stone in 4 days!
Been a vegetarian for almost seven years now. Would be surprised to find other vegetarians/vegans on here.
Being a vegetarian isn't exactly difficult though is it? Let's be honest, all you have to avoid is meat, simple! Being Vegan on the other hand requires you to read every f***ing ingredient on any product you pick up at the shop.
