    Head to head

Lewis beats Vitali and Tyson, loses to Ali
Vitali beats Tyson, loses to Lewis and Ali
Tyson has a shot against Lewis, but should lose to all three
    Ali beats all three.

Prime Vitali should not be here, it's an insult to the others.

He lost to an old, inactive out of shape Lewis. H2H nearly every ATG whoops his azz.

41 to 45 isn't that wide a margin mate. Certainly not enough to scoff at Lewis's chances.

Agreed. If Lennox never got those two losses I doubt anyone would question his H2H ability with the sort of zeal that they do. In his prime he really was a monster and prevailed against all types of fighters in every way it is possible to win a fight by. Ali, of course, will always be the GOAT (for his place and presence in history more than anything else) but H2H he was beatable by a number of fighters, one of which is Lewis.

    Let's break this down:

Lennox is, to date, one of the most athletic "big men" the sport has ever seen, of a size which usually results in oafs and skill-less brawlers. His power was immense but, unlike Foreman or Liston, he had speed and fluidity to his offence as well as the ability to back off and box if necessary. His jab was, perhaps, one of the top five in HW history, with a reach matched only by Liston among H2H greats. His height allowed him to fight tall or short as occasion demanded; his boxing brain consistently allowed him to adapt to his opponent in order to win; his power kept any fighter honest in the ring.

Were Ali to try to brawl with Lewis, he would match him punch for punch and beat him back with superior firepower and physical presence. Were Ali to try to bait Lewis or lure him to the ropes, Lewis would simply keep Ali at the end of his jab and strafe him with carefully timed body shots and left hooks. Were Ali to attempt to counter shot Lewis, he'd find himself getting tagged more often than not, or finding his punches falling short. Of course Ali could find some crazy way to win, as was his wont, but I really find a focused and prime Lennox a real nightmare for him, and would probably lean against him if I were to bet on the fight.

H2H there are very few fighters I'd ever give a good shot of beating Lennox.

    Voted on by 10 of the TS's alts. . . And by 75% Englishmen. . .

But, you mean THIS Lennox Lewis?

The one who looks like a ******ed fool while stumbling all over the canvas in a pile of his own shattered porcelain?

Or who tries to jab at the air when wallowing around in a puddle of his own shattered fine china? Haha that's called "the fencing response," btw, and it's a sure-fire indication of fine glass china. . . HAHAHA look at this glass-chinned tosspot trying to punch the air :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

 damn, swifty got banned? I loved that alt!

This has nothing to do with Vitali. . . But if Tyson is on there, Vitali belongs as well. . .

This has to do with Lewis' nuthugger absolutely talking nonsense about Lewis.

If you weren't so ashamed of it, why you take it down on the scene?

Can I have your permission to post it though?

We can do a 'whos better' at boxing jump rope battle.

KK why do you bother coming into threads involving Lewis when it's obvious your hatred of him rules you out of any serious discussion?
