Grouche, you're right but no amount of reasoning will convince fans that have their panties in knots over the K bros, and glorify past HWs (only b/c of how the current HW rulers look). It's sad and funny at the same time. As an American I remember the dissing LL took from many US fans and fighters like Tyson. He was "gay", didn't have a chin, blah blah. Then Lewis abused tough guy Mike. :| Tyson was past his prime wahhhhhhh. You'd think that was that. Well not exactly. Some of these clowns thought that if ol Mike got serious, he could clean out the HW div :huh They finally STFU when Tyson lost to club HW McBride :yep Now they keep dregging up Ali every few weeks and making monsters out of 70s HWs :-( Most 70s HWs would be Cruisers or small HWs today.
The bottom line is that Wlad landed about one big punch on Haye all night, that's not an opinion. Do you really think Wlad's going to take to town a boxer like Ali, who's a thousand times more elusive and better a boxer than Haye could ever dream about being, even in his wildest dreams. Wlad promised us all he'd knock out Haye, sadly, at the end of the day, he was as complicit in providing us all with an uneventful fight as Haye was. They pair of them were as bad as each other. Wlad could barely land a meaningful punch on Haye, but he sparks out Ali according to you? Seriously, get a grip son.

^ Look at how desperate he's getting. Just keep ignoring him. Soon he's gonna break the rules in order to get some attention and that's when we report him. We're doing good people, we can do it!
spe Rob, hard to land many big punches the way DH fought. Btw, Haye is a bit bigger and a harder puncher than Ali. What many like you do is "marry" the very fast 60s CW Ali w/the bigger, somewhat harder punching 70s HW Ali. That very fast, w/decent punching power Ali never existed. And that Ali was often up against 190-210 lb opponents. Hell chinny Norton gave Ali hell (probably never lost to Ali) 3X. Not only the K bros, but most likely even Haye, Arreola, Helenius and many other current HWs would KTFO of Norton (or easy UD) and most any 70s HW. Maybe you need to get a grip. Seriously let Ali age as gracefully as possible.
Should I bother? No, too much fail. Ali - Haye comparison? :verysad (and Ali's reach was longer..and, nope..Imma stop.)
Well, do you think a prime Ali would beat: -Ross Puritty? -Corrie Sanders? -Lamon Brewster? I think that is an obvious Yes to all 3. All three KO'd Wlad. Unless Ali walks into his jab, I don't see how Wlad lands a meaningful punch. He barely landed a decent punch on Haye. Ok, a lot of that was because haye spent half the time dancing away from him and tripping over his little toe, but it doesn't change the fact that very few meaningful punches connected. Haye never looked like winning, but he never looked like getting KO'd either. I'm not a Wlad hater, but here is a short list of fighters, all of which I think beat Wlad in their prime. -Ali -Foreman -Lister -Frazier -Tyson -Hollyfield -Lewis It is just unfortunate that most of the people who would have US heavyweights had they been born 20 years earlier, are instead playing linebacker/tightend in the NFL instead of boxing.
