I'm actually scared for Maravilla in this fight

    Jr looks at least 4-5 inches taller (From the pics)
    He will be at least 20-25 pounds heavier come fight night.

    IF Martinez allows Jr to push him to the ropes, I can't see Martinez seeing the 12th. I love Martinez (No homo) but he may be biting off more than he can chew in this one.

    Very reminiscent of Hatton/Floyd. Hatton (Even though fought once at 147) was physically being worn down by the bigger/more powerful Mayweather.

    Sergio looked great vs Dzinzurick (However you spell it) and Pwill but if the Martinez that showed up vs Barker shows up vs Jr. Jr will give him a beating of a lifetime.

    I hope Martinez takes this but Jr seems to be the favourite to take it on the 15th of September.

    Jr has great heart, solid chin and crisp boxing.

    The size difference is what I'm worried about for Martinez.

    sergio is one of the most intelligent boxers of this era , second only to floyd and ward ,

    he will study chavez very well and impliment a sound well thought out game plan

    Yeah a solid chin but a counter shot would be different then the normal straight in offense that you see coming. The Paul Williams shot will put anyone down.
    And who knows about Sergio's looping hook behind the ear.
    It's gonna be a good one.

    4-5 inches taller? Maybe 3 at most. Sergio is 5'10 ! Jr isn't 6'3!

    so martinez is pretty spirited. weight plays against him (or does it?).
    hard to tell.i see jr getting a lesson (not a clinic, but a sort of lesson that younger boxes mostly have to go through), but please, feel free to prove me wrong. gut feeling.

    It's crazy to think that just a few fights people thought Chavez would never risk fighting Martinez. Also, size difference always seems to matter for everyone except for Pac. When Pac is outweighed by 15+ lbs, he's a cherry picker. I guess that's a credit to Pac.

    You can't be 4-5 inch taller than somebody, outweight him by 20 pounds and be in the same weightclass unless you're a HW. Maravilla should be fine, but it's a tough match up without a doubt. 5'9 Molina was able to get a draw against Chavez (years ago I know) and a guy like Sebastian Zbik was able to outbox him for most of their fight. Zbik is probably about the same height as Sergio and he was KOed easily by Sturm. I think there is a lot of smoke thrown at us concerning Chavez. He got caught for banned substance before and he won't be able to cut that much weight forever.

    Martinez will school him.
