Vitali Klitschko vs Rocky Marciano

    Could Rocky overcome such a size advantage? Could Vitali's numerous arm punches keep Rocky away? How about speed of foot, does Vitali make punching room or can Rocky stick with him?

    A cogent analysis. All you left out was the unnecessary and completely off topic dig at Jack Dempsey. I'll take up that challenge: Dempsey was crude overrated and not even a real heavyweight. I'm not sure all his opponents weren't paid actors.

    marciano is the better, greater figter but he is not invincible. It has to be a brawl for marciano to win and the Klits wont give him one.

    This will suprise a lot of people who read my posts but vitali has a 70-30 chance here.

    I dont like the brothers K but there is no getting away from the fact that they inteligently use an effective method that works against good fighters when they have all the physical advantages. Its not just size it is what they do.

    truth : Vitali slaps Rocco in2 submission inside 12 (of course it could b over much much sooner , but i m being noncommital , inside 2 is contained within d inside 12 :yep)

    The 185lb Rocky would be too weak to pull this off, but give him Klitschko's roids and he can be a solid 220lbs, pressure Klitschko, put him on the back foot, break him to the body and constantly land big punches until knocking him out late

    Vitali Kllit would KTFO of Marciano inside 10 rds..... A huge man with strength and skills normally beats the much smaller man with strength and skills........

    Klitschko would win. Purely on the weight difference. Pound for pound,Rocky was by far the better fighter.

    It's so easy for many on here to say that ancient Marciano has no chance against a big modern heavy like Vitali.

    I'll just say that Vlad would be a nice big target for Marciano to rip left and right hooks to the body.
