Froch crying because he never got to carry the Olympic torch

Before the i post the exerts from the article let me tell you something about froch, he cries about not having the exposure, then why sign with such a shitty promoter in the first place? Also, ****** as big a **** he is said froch is known as a lay cuny when it comes to doing promotion stuff as is calzaghe, where as hatton and khan would always do what he asked, anyway.

You werent an olympian froch (obviosly crying because khan carried it), im sure a deserving person who was a former olympian and from the nottingham area carried it though.

the thing is it seems ever other week this **** is reminding us that "HE HASNT GOT THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES! lets be honest he isnt got much going for him in the looks department (despite having a good looking bird) so thats out the window (it helped guys like calz, haye, khan, brook, etc) and he hasnt got the charm of ricky, he signed with a shot promoter and stauyed with him for years was his own doing. now he is with matchroom and on sky he still wants to remind us? what does he want us to do? some sort of time travel to the past and praise him?

Check out Barry O'Dowd's 'story', it even mentions Carl Froch; surely it would've been good for O'Dowd to pass the torch on to probably Nottingham's only world class athlete.

I think Froch should go and watch tapes of Benn/McClellan, Eubank/Watson, Kelley/Hamed or even Khan/Maidana and then come back and tell me a "more exciting fight" he has had because I must have missed it.

 

Reread it. He didn't say he had the most exciting fight but more exciting fights i.e. in number. He's probably right.

 

first of all, calzaghe has beaten 5 unbeaten fighters, same as froch, just for the record. Calzaghe is a far superior fighter to froch, and imo would have wiped the floor with him.

The guy is clearly jealous.
the carl froch story is a bit strange. he has done everything, except hype fights, yet he still isnt popular. he fights the best, gives great fights etc.
I can totally understand his frustration for not even getting recognised on his own street.

i have a feeling its just the way God has it for him. he's done all he could to get recognised, but nothing happened.

i would respect if he doesnt act so bitter, talking down hayes fight. david haye has to make a living too, why are you so bothered if hes making another few mil? its non of his business what david haye does

 

I truly believe that Froch would have happily taken the place of a disabled youngster, local community unsung hero, or two actual olympic gold medalists just to feed his massive ego. Actually, he could have qualified to carry the torch just for being mentally ill, had he been nominated by his mum. The guy is sick in the head.

 

Why waste time posting such drivel. Has Froch blanked in Nottingham before?
