Actually, I think a good recent example is Jeffrey Mathebula. . . He's not very balanced, not coordinated. . . Not very fast at all. . . But through sheer will, he has crafted some decent skills.

But really, all boxers who are at least able to compete at the world class level (not necessarily being world class boxers), are much better athletes than average.

Hagler was an athlete. . . But his build had nothing to do with it. . .

There are PLENTY. . PLENTY of guys just as, if not more ripped up, with more impressive physiques who are not even remotely athletic.
