If Haye-Chisora is the best HW fight in years, why haven't HBO or SHO picked it up?

HBO wants nothing to do with Haye after the Wladimir fight.

You have to realise it also would be live in the late afternoon in US if shown on HBO or Showtime.
Both networks are not always the most willing to televise Live fights at this time.

Plus Haye's previous performance on HBO vs Wlad wont help his cause to get on their network.

    Pretty much.

Haye promised excitement for the Wlad fight but ended up backpedalling and diving to his knees the whole fight.

Plus, Chisora's not an interesting fighter, no matter how many Brits try and make it sound like he is.

I think they would have forgiven Haye if he had the US nationality, suddenly being dull and/or controversial doesn't count anymore in that case.
But he isn't, so no US coverage for the pretender.

Haye ruined a lot of things with the heavyweight division. I think SkySports don't do PPV any more because of Haye.

It's a big fish in a small pond. Two under achievers at heavyweight division makes for poor ratings here in North America.
I have Epix and will tape the fight.Who wants to watch a fight in the afternoon in the summer? Not me.
