This morning i received the following message from Kirk. Hey david! Man its good to hear from you..... things are hectic but good here. My grandma has come to live with me and taking care of her sometimes seems like a full time job (not that im complaining bless her heart) but she needs a lot of help, im trying to start my own company so getting all the paperwork n stuff out of the way for that, and the marines keep me busy, I leave again Friday afternoon to Camp Pendleton for a couple weeks of field training, not looking forward to it to be honest lol... im ready to get out now but 2 more years left on my contract. Anyways, ya man by the time I thought of doing the other way of updates, i was just too far behind to put that plan in action, for the amount of time I had/have. Im sure many people have rightly abandoned the thread, and it sucks because this was our most succesful year to date..... i tried everything to keep it afloat when I knew my summer was getting hectic, I even tried paying people I know to help me with the updates. I dont know if its too late to salvage this year. We are in month 7, by the time I get back from pendleton it will be august. So I dont know if I could/should just throw out the last three months and just go from our last recorded records, n go months 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.... and this year will just have an * next to it in our timeline and whatnot. but i dont know if enough people would be interested in that when I get back. Also, due to the time restraints, we could no longer have 40, 45 fights a month but id have to cap it at a good 30, maybe even 25. I could do the updates for the last half of the year its just I dont have the time to go back and do the catchup, and i realised that when i tried to do it when I told you guys of the new way id be doing the updates... i tried n it still took too much time to go back n go through 600 or 700 posts to find peoples picks. But if we went from our last recorded records, and did away with the last two months or so, i would have the time to do a 30 fight a month schedule, then it wouldnt be too much problem to finish out the year i would think. but who knows david... anyways, other then that alls good here. living life n having fun.... how about you? I remember you were going through some rough patches and Im hoping that as of now you are feeling good and things have smoothed out. Tell the guys I say hi and if you want show them this message (if anyone cares lol) and just in case we dont talk before i leave to training take care david!

Goedemiddag David :hi: Only 10 minutes after my post we get word from Kirk... He's waching our every move :yep Probably. I read even murder cases get "shelved" because of lack of funds :roll:
I think we should keep on posting. If needed I use some of my vacation days to make the updates myself. (my vacation is coming up next week)
That's... weird. :huh We've got people who post in the thread but don't participate in the league by making picks, and people who are banned/exiled from the board but still do make their picks.
