Haye/Chisora is a 10 Round Fight!

But then you wonder...if it doesn't matter then why would they cut it down to 10? I'm not gonna freak out about it. I'm just curious as to why it's limited to 10 when paying fans deserve 12 rds of good action (yes, it COULD go that far).

 

Because fights shouldn't be 12 rounds unless they're for a title, or are eliminators.

Just because there are "stars" involved doesn't automatically mean it needs to be longer than a 10 round bout.

10 rounds is as long as bouts go with nothing tangible on the line. Even if it's just a bull**** regional title, that's what 12 rounders are reserved for.

But in the end, Haye can run and potshot 10 rounds or 12. Makes no difference.

Nope. I hate when non-title-bouts/eliminators are randomly scheduled for 12. It makes no ****ing sense, and subverts the fact that contests for championships are special.
