But then you wonder...if it doesn't matter then why would they cut it down to 10? I'm not gonna freak out about it. I'm just curious as to why it's limited to 10 when paying fans deserve 12 rds of good action (yes, it COULD go that far).
Because fights shouldn't be 12 rounds unless they're for a title, or are eliminators. Just because there are "stars" involved doesn't automatically mean it needs to be longer than a 10 round bout. 10 rounds is as long as bouts go with nothing tangible on the line. Even if it's just a bull**** regional title, that's what 12 rounders are reserved for.
10 rounds hahaha... This just points to the prominence of this "top tier" heavyweight fight. What a joke. But in the end, Haye can run and potshot 10 rounds or 12. Makes no difference.
This fight didn't technically necessitate 12 rounds, but it could've been scheduled for 12 all the same, no?
Nope. I hate when non-title-bouts/eliminators are randomly scheduled for 12. It makes no ****ing sense, and subverts the fact that contests for championships are special.
It's not a title fight, no? Then it should be a 10 round fight. No one here ever heard of the championship rounds?? No? Oh, I see. Haye's a *****.
Its probably a good thing, heard alot of Chisora took all that punishment.... blah blah... Haye is gonna beat the shite out him!
This is a lie!!! Check out the British board, I have cleared up this rumour, by speaking directly to a friend of Chisoras!!!!
Ah, but to tiptoe for 15 rounds? With healthy piggies, no sweat. Hell, with his output from against Valuev he could go a truly old-timey 30+.
