A couple of absolutely idiotic statements from Khan , during on the ropes !!!

Maybe its because I'm British and i feel uncomfortable with over friendly ness , mate i began a thread about Amir Khan in a less than positive tone , i was banking on the fact id be blasted and written off , this is the great British public , who happen to be under the Amir Khan spell of illusion , or is that delusion , i can't work it out

 

I think people are somewhat missing the point of a) what Khan has said and what element of it happens to UNTRUE and b) the definition of what he's actually saying

Clearing out a division , Khan repeatedly states " I've cleared out 140 " , when he hasn't even begun clearing out the division , ok I'm being a little harsh there , he did get going and then had his opponents taken from him due to powers beyond his control , which means that he never ever got round to fighting the best opponents in that division , Bradley of course may well return to 140 , now if Khan and his followers believe that beating Judah , Maidana , Kotelnik and Garcia ??? is clearing out a division that once housed Bradley , Alexander and Ortiz , then i really don't know what to say to you

Im going to elaborate because that makes me sound a little stupid , if your not reading between the lines of what I'm actually trying to say

Khan missed the boat , he missed the boat on fighting and beating the best @140 , therefore it can never be said that Khan cleared the division out , the best fighters out grew the division and Khan never fought them , thats what happened , Khan fought the middle ranked guys at 140 (and thats being modest) and had in different performances apart from Judah who Khan handled clinically IMHO , if Khan was going to hang around at the weight (which he's not) the foundations are in for what could be seen as clearing out the division , like I've said by my definition that means a sustained period of time beating the best fighters and the break through best fighters " in the world " , not whats available

If you do not get the opportunity to fight the worlds elite and beat them , then thats just bad luck , but just because you clear up the riff raff doesn't make you the best in the division , sorry re phrased , doesn't give you the inherent right to claim " I've cleared out the worlds best @140 "
