Why doesn't Chavez Jr. get any credit?

When Jr. smiles, that top lip of his does some weird curves & I can't explain the feeling I get. Its NOT good, believe me. Not good at all.

Maybe Sergio can provide the damage that will require plastic surgery & fix that guys face up, for Gods sake!

Zbik - Arguably lost the fight, Sturm goes on to stop Zbik
Manfredo jr - Smaller yet still put him on the backfoot, ref stoppage
Rubio - Stopped by Pavlik, came in 20 llbs heavier goes the scorecards
Lee - Out boxed early on before getting a referee stoppage

It amazes me why people suddenly started to over rate Chavez post Andy Lee . . .

 

Who said he's not? Well, at least prior to Sergio he wasn't and for good reason. Before he started going Gigantor ballooning to 180 Lee by many was thought the better fighter. Once Jr started adding close to 20 pounds Lee being,able to beat Jr was becoming less and less a possibility. I gave Jr props tho for beating Lee. He wasn't going to be denied that night Jr looked like a Mexican version of Joe Frazier he was beastin that night. Mentally and physically never seen him so focused.

 

No Jr will get Credit simply because they are a Jr likely living off the good name their father or uncle made for them.
Chavez Jr, Floyd Jr will be under the microscope until they out do those who came before them sad but true

Win or lose Chavez Jr will be getting credit from me for taking this fight, Martinez still looks in great form and for once I feel this is gonna be the kinda fight I can call my mates over that don't really follow boxing to come and watch.

I'm a fan. Especially after I heard that he insisted on this fight getting made in order to sign an extension with Top Rank. Arum didn't want it but Chavez forced him into it.

Tough kid who is looking to create his own legacy. Respect.

 

Exactly how I see it...............Chavez wants to step it up - give the guy full credit..................!!!!!

I remember the kid looking like **** and every time I saw him fight he made these improvements (small improvements). It wasn't anything fast, but eventually he became into a pretty damn good fighter. Respect be to him.
