    By Lopez taking this fight with Canelo Al Haymon has secured Lopez with 3 big pay days. One vs Canelo One vs Ortiz in the rematch and One vs a top fighter at 140 after he loses to Ortiz.

    Schaefer gets 3 big fights out of it and 3 belt holders in 3 different divisions

    I still can't believe this fight got made. Was Ulises Solis not available, because I'd rather see Canelo fight him again.

    disagree.

    1. haymon made the prelim contract with arum until ellerbe threw the osdt roadblock.

    2. haymon reached an agreement with tr/de boef during mediation but floyd would not sign on it.

    3. haymon reached an agreement with arum through greenburg but floyd again wouldn't sign on it.

    i actually think haymon is eager to make the fight so he can collect his 20-30% share. what was interesting last year was that haymon did not make the call and did not seem to have the authority to negotiate with koncz or anybody.
