not worried about his performance in sparring in that clip... but what was really worrying is his attitude and mentality. "it looks boring" and his willingness to trade. he's not boxing smart and he's proving to be a very stupid fighter in the ring. and this is after he was telling guys like froch they need to box smart and praised froch after he dominated abraham by being smart.

his only excuse is that "it looks boring" for the sky cameras that he knew were watching. so maybe thats who he was trying to impress.

I haven't read his interview in BN but there's a quote that says 'i love brawling'. Wouldn't of guessed it from that clip .

Read Garcia's interview, seems a nice kid tbh. Shame dad is doing his upmost to ruin the kids rep .

He looks ****ing useless in that clip. Absolutely abysmal.

I think he might have plateau'd, he doesn't possess the intelligence to realise where he's going wrong, instead preferring to say ''I want to prove that I've got a chin, to shut people up, you know what I mean innit?''.

He's got plenty of stones everyone knows that, but given that he lacks power he needs to get away from trying to bang his way out of trouble all the time, or fouling when that doesn't work.

The Peterson fight, PEDs or no PEDs, should have been 118-110 x3 in his favour if he'd had a smart-ish gameplan. Instead he was made to look pretty clueless and weak, in all honesty.

Seemed to be a right dust up. Wonder what Roach would have done if he was there.

Amir Khan is not really going to change much at all from the Petersen fight or any of his earlier fights.

He's getting on a bit relative to how early he started so he's almost maxed out in terms of learning and improving. He probably think Petersen being enhanced by drugs means he doesn't have to change anything style wise as well. That fight will seen by him as something to cast aside. He may be proved right on that to an extent but still.

He's just too damn hyper and has no composure. He needs to calm the **** down. He's too emotional. I know he wants to make a point and stop Garcia cos of his dad's trash talk but chill the **** out man. Relax get behind the jab open your man up and time your power punches, not start windmilling and hitting and hoping. He's been boxing a long time, yet he's on the ragged edge. He's got ability but his attitude and mentality needs to improve. You can't blast everyone out of there. Even Tabares made the point when he boxes he is too good for the guy but when he gets wild, ****!

Mandana's quotes from the Kotelnik sparring video are truly wince worthy. Whats even worse though is you bunch making the EXACT same mistakes, and you say Khan can't make adjustments LOL

Next minute......... Shut out victory for Khan with Kotelnik (quickly chalked up as an overrated, average belt holder post fight) barely landing a glove all night long
