The Bolton-fighter has enlisted the services of strength and conditioning coach Ruben Tabares, who has introduced some unusual practices into Khan's preparations.
"He's made me change to a non-fluoride toothpaste because apparently fluoride is really dangerous, contains rat poison or something and can even kill you," Khan explained.
"I'm one of those guys who listens to what my trainers tell me - even if it sounds a little bit strange sometimes - and I do it anyway."

to be fair fluoride does have some nasty side effects in some people and there is a body dead set against it being in the water supply in the UK.
Rat poison may be going a bit far but it does have some risks however low they might be

in a few months of training with his new strength and conditioning coach, he would have been given mountains of advice and tips, when questioned about his new coach by the BBC the best bit of advice he could have thought of was this toothpaste one, this toothpaste comment was probably and off the cuff comment that means nothing, just a 'did you know flouride is bad for you? then khan tries to remember the conversation and includes 'rat poisoin' in it.

    Amir Clown does it again

I can imagine his excuse when he loses this next fight, if you pause to the 23:18 on this video of the fight you can instantly see hatman putting flouride in my water, if you cant see that then haters gonna hate. gimmie my belts back

Quality advice. Could have just got info like that off google though. Hope his coaches tell him to keep his hands down at all times and hop around the ring.

This is not the time for crap puns 9Ball ! :nono

Now in all seriousness, one thing I can 'Gleem' from this story is that it will 'Signal' a noticiable improvement in him. We will see a 'Complete' performance from him, going at it 'Arm and Hammer'. He will ride the 'Crest' of the wave to glory, in an aggressive performance even Lenny 'Macleans' would be proud of.

The fact that fluoride is in rat poison is totally different to Khan's suggestion that rat poison is in fluoride! Fluoride is one of many ingredients in insect / pest control substances, and is present in MUCH higher dosages than human toothpaste. It's a form of association fallacy. Fluoride is in our water supply FFS!
