What If...Josesito were to beat Canelo?

    IF Lopez wins he would be disrupting a bunch of immediate plans for GBP...
    BUT not a prob they would then turn to him & milk his "Rocky" story until that runs out.
    (It's the story of the sprocket)

    Crazy. but not impossible. I don't know if he can handle Canelo's size and power but he took Vic's power. P4P Vic packs a harder punch......I do realize those extra pounds mean a world of difference in most cases... I just have a notion to go with my gut and call upset.

    if lopez beats canelo than what happens will surely be a rematch. if lopez totaly destroys him and canelo wants no rematch than lopez should take on the biggest name available. so if floyd is out of jail and can make weight, than floyd, if not, than cotto.

    if canelo losses, it depends how, than he will still become a star, because he is that good.

    if lopez looks great at 154 than why not should he stay there.

    still I say Lopez gets TKO'd. he was behind on points vs ortiz and had ortiz kept fighting there would have been a good chance that ortiz would have won and since canelo is better than ortiz in my eyes on top naturaly bigger I see no chance for lopez in that one.

    :think You're sure Lopez beats Alvarez by TKO?

    You stand to make quite a bit of money if you turn out being correct and are savvy enough to exploit the lines at the sportsbooks..

    I have been saying something very similar to the bold. I would maximaze the weight for strenght, speed and movement "ala Pac".

    I would assume a rematch clause would be included in the contract, so Canelo would get a rematch. Josesito has a lot of heart and anyone who counts him out is wrong.

    Not sure if he would fight Floyd, due to the fact that both are represented by Al Haymon.

    Canelo's chin seems suspect. I dont see Jose winning a decision and his only true chance comes winning via KO/TKO. I would not be surprised if he were to pull off a KO/TKO vs Canelo and I'll be very surpirsed if he pulled the decision.

    Actually that's what's gonna happen. Lopez and Canelo have the same height because Canelo aint tall. Canelo's power is overrated and his defence is not as good as people think.Canelo covers the front of his face leaving his jaw open which is what Lopez is good at,breaking people's jaws.I've my money on Lopez and I'm a true fan of his.The kid deserves all the big fights and money.He can fight Floyd at 147 and that will be a legitimate fight.

    Josesito is technically better than Canelo, I want him to pull this one out.

    It would be the upset of the year for sure.

    I think he'll be game, but I can't see him pulling this off. Canelo is too strong, and Lopez is there to be hit. He took some big shots from Ortiz, I'm not convinced he can take those same shots round after round from a true 154 pounder.

    Another thing is, he is coming back pretty quick from a very tough fight where he took a good amount of punishment. I'm not sold 3 months of recovery is enough to come back for a fight of this magnitude in a division two weight classes above his best.

    He may be better suited coming into the match around 150 tops, and trying to use speed and movement, but Lopez is easily drawn into battle and I can't see boxing for 12 rounds as a strategy he will stick to.

    I'll still be pulling for him though, hopefully he can find a way.
