I don't think Ustinov will agree to this tournament, because he's an awful fighter, and he and his handlers know that he'll lose to any live opponent.

Pulev might also refuse- I know that he said he wanted to make a couple of defenses of his EBU title (he said that after the Dimitrenko fight)- so he might wait a while before pursuing a title shot.

That said, I would love to see Pulev vs Adamek ( I think Pulev beats obese Solis and Adamek outpoints the terrible Ustinov)

Solis was moving very good in his fight with Vitali, nice lateral movements and was light on his feet. A somewhat in shape solis is a very good boxer

yeah, I don't know how anybody could come to the conclusion of Solis obviously beating Pulev. . .

but unless I'm mistaken, I remember Solis being very light on his feet against Vitali? :huh Moving laterally very well, and transitioning from outside, to inside to pick off shots on Vitali, only to get out and avoid Vitali's range. . .

i'll have to rewatch .. . . i just said i thought solis was "A BIT" fleeter of foot than Pulev. . Pulev is definitely light on his fight as well. . I just remember Solis moving better. . I could be off on this one, as I'll have to rewatch more of both.

Ultiamtely, I favor Pulev, though. .

Actually, upon further review, I think you are right Vysotsky, it was more so Solis's range, timing, and hand speed, more than his foot speed. . . Pulev looked lighter on his feet, bouncing around, and moving faster. . .

Hand speed, it's close, but I might give Solis a TINY, FRACTION of an edge. . Timing, technique, and power = too close to call. . .

Overall, I see Pulev as the better boxer/puncher, though. . . And I favor him in this fight.

Awesome. Solis needs this type of fights to sharpen his great skills. Winner of tourney should be Solis.

    I like this forum!

The Solis these guys talk about sounds great -- too bad he doesn't exist.

Sponge Bob Solis is a dim bulb, lazy and unmotivated. He even says he hates boxing.

    Pulev will crush Solis easily.

Who are those other guys? This just seems like a better way to hype an Adamek Solis fight. I thought by tournament it'd be something like everyone has to fight each other at least once.

    You're kidding, right?

Pulev has done more in the heavyweight division already than Sponge Bob.

Solis has to be near or at the top of the list of overrated boxers in 2012.

The idea that Pulev is a walkover for Solis is laughable.

Nope, I really don't follow the heavyweight division. I'm pretty casual so I basically really only top the top 10ish from each divison. If he's good competition then that's good.

I don't agree that Solis is overrated. He's attitude towards his body is terrible, but he's got great skills.

agreed...Wladi should push for a trilogy against Thompson :patsch

Come one, you have to admit there's not a lot great options for the Klits right now.
