Just watched Carl on sky news say that Kessler is unlikely until summer next year plus the rematch against bute.

He said he might look through the ibf rankings for appropriate opposition

Who out of the IBF rankings you think? I know Stevensons fighting for the number 1 spot i dont think that would be too much of a challenge.

What has Dirrell done to warrant a rematch?

  4. He might be interested with a domestic fight with Groves...but would be of little reward apart from a good pay-check.

And Pavlik the man who Calzhage "ducked" would be a bit of a money spinner, since Pavlik still is a "name" in the sport

The atmosphere in Nottingham would be ELECTRIC! It's something about a yank that will make the Englishmen get up even more for this fight. . . And come out in droves. . .

I'm predicting an even bigger, and more exciting atmosphere than with Bute.

Degale and Groves wont be taking on Froch any time soon
Stevenson and Oosthuzien fight in August
Dirrell pussied out of an eliminator
Pavlik is the most likely but somehow I doubt it happens
    Kessler seems to be out

Personally id like to see Sakio Bika step up again, hes a solid gatekeeper at world level and has mixed it up with the best at world level before whilst proven to be durable and it wouldnt be his first world title challenge

    Andre Ward - WBA
    Lucien Bute - IBF
Joe Calzaghe - WBO + IBF
    Markus Beyer - WBC

Id like to see this fight get made!

  11. :huh

huh...a fight against bika is awful :huh

I doubt Stielglitz would fight again in 2 months time, its unheard of now a days, besides Abraham has a decent chance of upsetting him

Pavlik would just be a punching bag and Dirrell bitched out.

Get him in with Bika, hes the only world class fighter available

How is Bika awful? he wasnt by any means out of the fight against Ward, hes a multiple time title challenger and is a tough fight for anybody not to mention the fact he comes to fight

I think his and Froch's style would gel well

Stevenson is fighting Donovan George on the Pascal-Cloud undercard/co-main.

Bika would be a good fight I think. Maybe a bit risky considering The Cobra has Bute lined up for the rematch; it would be a bruising fight. Neither guy will ever be confused with a shrinking violet.

I'll say Pavlik. It's more than winnable, a decent name and should be a cracking fight.

I don't necessarily think what I will say, but : he won the first match on most people (but the judges) cards.

What I really believe : he may have won the fight but he's a spoiler. Better fights are to be made.
