scene it. . . can't post here cause it won't show up. but it should be about mid-way down today's page. . or maybe somewhere near the bottom. . .
Cool. I go thru the thread and see lots of **** as to why these guys wont fight. Solis......he's never turned a big one down. Pulev wants to defend his title, Solis was his nemisis in the am's and Pulev has also, never turned away from a big fight. I'm having second thoughts about Ustinov. Yes, he's turned down some big fights. And yes, he's taken some shitty ones. BUT....he's a K2 fighter, and vs Adamek, he'd be a live UD for the KO. Both K2 have sparred extensively with him and know his abilities. Vitali pretty much walked right through Adamek. Ustinov is not Vitali, but it was also apparent that Vito carried Adamek as long as he could. This would also be a great investment for K2 to send Ustinov to NY vs Admake. It would make faaar more $$$ for them than against some nohoper like Gavern. Ustinov and Adamek both have minor titles, and those titles would make for a bigger PPV in Poland. Adamek sells no matter who he's fighting, and the K2 need to make some $$$ off Ustinov, and no better way to hype him than if he gets a KO vs Adamek. As for the Solis v Pulev.....man that's a great fight. Close call IMO. Solis has a large adv skillwise, but his conditioning is a problem. But certainly, if Pulev couldnt get Walker outta there, Solis will be no pushover. And yeah, I agree with the Pulev fans, that Pulev has certainly gotten much better as he's progressed thru the pro ranks. He could very well come out on top in all this. It's really a tossup. Adamek is the best, but the smallest with the least power and punch resistance. Ustinov is the biggest, but the slowest with the poorest resume. Will his size be a factor at the next level. Pulev is still kindof green, but like Solis, has not backed down and has a great resume. Maybe better than Solis'. The fact that the winner of this will be carrying at least 3 huge wins into a Wlad fight will be great. Adamek---- Chambers, Ustinov, Solis-Pulev Solis----- Airrich, Pulev, Adamek-Ustinov Pulev-----Walker, Dimitrenko, Solis, Adamek-Ustinov Ustinov----Barrett(yeah 3 yrs ago), Adamek, Solis-Pulev. Any one of those guys coming out of this tournament would be bonafide to the fullest. Let's hope edmund Gerber or Glaskov or any other completely green fighter or washed up Blevel guy dont find a way in as a replacement. Fury would be fine, as would a healthy Helenius or even the winner of Haye Chisora. Like Vytosky noted, Arreola is likely saving himself for Suleiman and a free WBC title.:---(
atschatschatsch Pulev is the man who just KTFO Dimitrnko with a jab and clowned on Wlaker for 10 rds. He's also beaten the best journeymen in the world en route to his EU title win over Dimitrenko. And Ustinov too big for Adamke........Grant is more proven.....McBride...not as good as Ustinov IMO, but still, battle tested, and Arreola......Adamek was supposed to get KTFO by all of em. Ustinov is the least proven of the 4.:think
Ustinov has awesome defense, loves blocking punches with his face he took some heavy shots from Gavern in his last fight, and it's good for him that he's got a granite chin Adamek would UD the slow, lumbering giant with ease
I thought the same thing, soas to get the two most credible and best challengers in the eliminator....ie Pulev and Solis.
