you know looking at Vitali's fights over the years he ain't boring at all

    I mean he throws a good volume of punches, he's a head hunter who always goes for the KO, he keeps his hands low trying to get something out of his opponents, has a real strong jab which is more of a left straight because it has so much power behind it(ask adamek), a really good left hook, and of course that right hand. His fights might be perceived as boring because of how completely dominant this dude is, i mean when it comes down to a dog fight Vitali doesn't back down, the last dudes that really challenged him and made it a scrap were Sanders and Lewis, the dude has an iron chin too,

    Wlad might be boring because of his robotic style and caution first approach, but his brother is a completely different animal

    Vitali is ok in my book, I usually enjoy his fights unless it's againsed a no-hoper, same goes for Wlad.

    They aren't nearly as boring as the media potrays them. They aren't exactly the most exciting fighters. A lot has to do with unreal expectations of what a fight should look like.

    yea expectations for a fight are often way too high, i mean for there to be a war you need two men of comparable skill, and for nearly a decade no one has been there to challenge vitali like that

    I also analyzed his style and it's really funky, hands down, chin out, throw good left hooks and straights, for such a big dude he often looks real light on his feet the way he evades punches without having to move his feet, and he really doesn't like to clinch

    dare i say it, vitali is slick and eastern european

    imo the biggest problem is the lack of competition in the heavyweight ranks. the heavyweight division has been lame since the 90s.

    I prefer to watch Vitali over Wlad that's for sure. He has more of a fighters instinct than Wlad and will go for the kill where as Wlad practically waits until his opponent is dead before he will go for the knockout.

    you really need to watch some more of his fights, especially the ones before his initial retirement in 2004

    the man really does throw a good volume of punches un-like his brother, with a flahsier style too

    Vitali is definitely better to watch.


    And I can't wait to watch him retired by the Motha****in Hayemaker, that is if Vitali stops ducking him.

    Agreed. Younger Vitali was always fun to watch, The guy loved to fight. This version of Vitali has slowed down tremendously, doesn't have the same volume punching and isn't as willing to exchange. But that's What age and injuries will do to you...
