Honest question. Would Floyd have ever gone up to 147-154 if he was in the same era

    As say

    Hearns -Leonard-Duran in the 80's

    or even Prime Oscar-Tito
in the late 90's early 2000's?

Possibly. That's where the money was and he'd need to fight and beat either Leonard or De La Hoya to become a true money making superstar like he has.

Does it really matter though? Lots of fighters like to stay in their comfort zones. Nobody ever criticises Hagler for not stepping up to fight Spinks.

Yea, to get ktfo:bbb. But, honestly he would of gotten murdered in that era if he went up. He would do what he always does keep it safe.

They would be moving onto 160-168 when he'd be coming to 147-154. When they'd be 147-154, he'd be 130-140. :yep

This is spot on, SRL/ Hitman >>>>Oscar/Tito. I Think he moves up for a Payday in any era, but I do not think he stays there in the SRL/Hitman era. The two hardest fights during the Oscar /tito era for PBF would have been Ike and Forrest. I think he beats oscar and tito @ 147 even though it is not his best weight

Yeah, PBF best weight was 135-140 while SRL and Tommy was 147-154 (personally I don't know why Oscar and Tito are in the conversation they are not even close to being on the level as SRL and Tommy

    Agree with this.

I've always felt the two hardest fights for Floyd since he has been active were Winky Wright and Forest. Ike is a good shout, never really thought about that match-up.

    :patsch:patsch

they all lost to EACH OTHER

    :patsch:patsch lmao

Floyd will get killed by Hearns, I'm not even hating on Floyd but just mismatch to the fullest extent.

    Floyd will probably beat Duran

    Sugar Ray is 60-40

Hearns is the guy that really hurt Floyd and I do not think Floyd will fight Hearns if they in same era.

I also don't think Floyd would have fought a prime Tito

Floyd Mayweather is the p4p $1 money making machine

he don't care about legacies, he care about PPV

and I agree with him. Legacies don't pay the bills, why end up like Ali?

    Floyd is a smart weasel

    Says who, Legendary Nights?

Pryor admitted he turned down the fight. And a career high pay day at that.

Who the **** was or is Aaron Pryor to dictate and demand **** with Sugar Ray Leonard? He needed shine off of Leonard's star. Thank the Don for the opportunity and Shut The **** up and take your TKO5. He didnt want to do that.
