No, Vanes has an excellent amateur background, is very well schooled, and has good size. This would be a really good matchup.
I already consider him a solid fighter, just not the demigod his fanboys think he is. They act as if all the top dogs at 154 are scared shitless of him when he doesn't have a single good name on his resume and has looked pretty average and unimpressive at times. Defeating Vanes would do a lot for his poor stock, so he better do it if he wants to be taken seriously.
