It's possible man, but SRR didn't just suddenly get exhausted. It's a gradual thing, so there's no surprise the fight got closer the longer it went on

Robinsons the greatest ever and fought non stop throughout each year. No fighters would do what he did today. Or in Ali's generation.

Maxim's punches probably wouldn't register among the top three reasons Robinson lost the fight and that is in a sport that can be broken down as simply as: punching strikes. The heat, Robinson's activity level in that heat, and Maxim's weight were all more significant. :yep

Did Joey Maxim have air conditioning in his corner?

Maxim had to deal with the same heat and took some very good punches from Robinson.

Ok great, he wore him down and won the fight. Its more like he stopped Robinson more than Robinson "quit"

I never said Robinson quit. Wearing an oppoent down is a perfectly liget way to win a boxing match.

This,. Robinson deserves credit for fighting at middleweight and dominating a Top 2O-25 AT LH over 10-11 rounds. Maxim deserves credit for holding up under the heat and applying the type of pressure needed to make SRR fight at a faster than desired pace.

The fight kind of reminds me of Pacquiao/Bradley. In the sense that no matter what Robinson dose, Maxim gets right back into his face.

The thing is with Robinson he can't be put down in any way.people applaud him being 5 time middleweight champ but they don't point to the fact that he had to lose it 4 times to achieve this which isn't good.not to mention 2 losses to Paul pender
