i think that the klitschkos are killing the heavyweight division. I really think they pick one of the worst opponents ever to face them. Once they retire, the promoters will make heavyweight division real famous again in america. The heavyweight division is where the money at

edit: my bad i spelled their name wrong on the title (klitschkos)

Totally agree. There are some really interesting matches to be made between guys who are between 10 and 20 fights into their careers. Thing is, i feel Wlad might trundle on for awhile yet. The idea of Wlad thrashing a new generation and ruining some of them disturbs me a bit but the guy is entitled.

Yeah I agree, there's some interesting fights to be made. If fury and price both can pick up titles that would be a huge fight in the UK

Once the brothers retire, there will be nothing.

Why should the Klitschkos retire? They are the only true Greats in the division. The Top 20 should just fight each other and earn a shot at the Kings. Simple as that.

Surely though, for even his fans, it is getting to the point where you would like to see Vitali retire? I admire Vitali as a man even if I don't particularly care for his style and it's not like i'm willing him to lose or anything but he's obviously slipped and has a lot of other **** on his mind.

People just want heavyweights of their nationality to be able to win a belt.. The fights people talk about can be made now, why should they deserve to be world champions if they can't beat the best out there now.

    You're from Britain aren't you?

Thompson was a IBF mandatory. If Wladimir had refused to fight him he would have lost his belt. Which was no option for him as he wants to keep all the belts he collected over the years like a true champ should.

Once the K brothers retire you will have a circle jerk of 2nd rate fighters winning ABC trinkets and losing them in their next fights.

Remember the 2004-2006 period? Brewster, Peter, Toney, Rahman, Ruiz, Liakovich, Valuev, Ibragimov etc. etc. Was that an exciting and amazing period in HW boxing? Please.
