Eddie Hearn referred to Brook's poor preparation for the Carson fight in the post fight interview. I usually take these interviews with a pinch of salt because people are still emotional so soon after the fight . But Hearn repeated again on Ringside yesterday almost a week after the fight . Does anybody know what happened? Was it something specific or did Brook just generally have a bad attitude during camp?
I know he had a kid fairly recently. Maybe a combination of family commitments and a bit of believing his own hype meant he stepped off a bit?
don't be telling me he's following in the footsteps of prince naz when it comes to the family department.
haha... true. Difficult to really know how much conditioning was to blame for Jones winning the later rounds, because he basically did nothing in the first 2. Could have been a very different fight if he'd started a bit quicker. I like Brook though so hope it's a wake up call for him.
a poster on here claimed last Sunday that Brook was spotted in a nightclub a week before the fight out his face on the beak.
My take on the situation as i understand it was nutrition , and conditioning , thats what I'm lead to believe Hearn was referring too Added to that Hearn may of been having a pop at the Ingle's , after watching the interview and not hearing the ramblings post fight i would of suggested the tone of the interview was aimed at this camp , i.e. his coaches and not his diet / conditioning I also have another take on the situation , there making excuses for Brook being dragged into a dog fight by a fringe level contender , which by all accounts (according to the special 1) he is at least a level above that already If Brook would of demolished Carson Jones would Eddie Hearn and Kell Brook themselves have been so vocal in claiming " something needs to change " ??
