In England this fight is huge. Its all over the papers which is rare for Boxing. Casual fans and non boxing fans know this fight is taking place. I was wondering how much interest this is generating outside of the UK?

Is it the most anticipated heavyweight fight since Haye Wlad.?
    Are people talking about it?

Who here is watching it from outside UK? I understand its on Epix, is that channel easy to access.

It's a nice fight, and I look forward to it.

Certainly because this one can end the Haye hype for goo... eh... mmm... another year or so. :yep

From UK here, but have been following some of the coverage on the net, outside of boxing circles this fight is not known about in the US, some mixed feelings about the bout within boxing fraternity but still somewhat interested

Even over here the fight isn't that big, I was expecting it to be something like the Haye-Klitschko fight but it hasn't really been. Maybe as we get closer to fight time.

Only sort of related, but when was the last time two HW's not named Klitschko did 29k?

How about the last time two American HW's did that?

You're getting carried away now. Tickets are still on sale. I could easily get one now if I wanted.

You're looking at things from the wrong angle. It doesn't matter if you can sell out 29k tickets if those tickets are priced as low as 25 quid for the cheapest.

If I sell out a venue of 15k capacity and my cheapest ticket is 200 dollars, who do you think is making more money?

Yep, we even had a 4 by 3" (estimated) article about it in one of our biggest newspapers.
Usually that doesn't happen much before a fight.

i'm sure it's big wherever the klitschkos are big, so by default, it isn't big in the u.s.
