I am a HUGE fan of Campillo. . I love that dude's style. . I wouldn't call him slick, but he's SMOOTH. . So smooth. . . And fluid. . . Haven't seen, or heard much of Kovalev. . .

Good to see Campillo getting TV dates, and attention. . . Dude deserves it. . Few more decisions that go his way, he's borderline top ten pound for pounder.

 

This could easily be Campillo's second career loss by knockout.

never saw kovalev but his SD win over Boone is a little concerning...shouldn't be giving up that many rounds to Boone if you're world class.

 

Sergey Kovalev is a good boxer and hard hitting as well. One of his last opponents fell in coma after the fight and died 3 days after.

Great fight! Campillo by rights should hold the IBF and WBA titles and Kovalev is a dangerous contender.

 

Nice card, again, by NBC. They've been putting on competitive cards that are usually entertaining.

I've only seen a little of Kovalev but he looks solid and had a good amatuer career, this is a big step up. Campillo is one of the best at 175 and may be too experienced for Kovalev.

Cruz seems solid, I'm not blown away by him though. Smith is a solid test but his grunting can make him hard to watch sometimes.
