    Ruben Tabares ‏@rubentabares
Danny Garcia thought I wouldn't notice he was wearing a sweat suit @ the press conference! Good luck with that buddy!

@saj23x Lmao his dad also wouldn't let him drink any water, he looked dry n also didn't break a sweat during his workout, he's ****ed!

Ruben Tabares ‏@rubentabares: @AmirKingKhan had three meals today and carbs before bedtime! He will also have breakfast in the morning! And that's how you make weight!

Weight hopping i believe its called

Not moving weight because your body has naturally out grown the weight class

Big surprises ahead for Khan @147 , I've said it for a long time

Among numerous risks, the biggest one is getting caught cold by one of the real big boys at the weight, not gonna be pretty.

Totally agree. Been saying it for a long time. They're letting their eyes on the prize - Mayweather - take precedent over what's really good for them.

To be fair, I can remember the same convo when he moved up to 140lb. People were saying he can't take punches at 135, and has been KO'd, so how's he gonna cope with bigger stronger men.

    For me 2 things

His own power , and the effect of being hit more often by bigger men , it doesn't suit his style , and it will wear him down quickly , or should i say quicker

That said , a lot of the older original guys @140 are now campaigning @147 , so I'm referring to the likes of Berto, Brook, Ortiz, Zaveck, potentially Guerrero depending on how he's come on, Lopez and the likes

Mayweather isn't really worth a mention for obvious reasons :yep

And not so much the likes of Bradley, Malignaggi and Alexander

I was in favour of him moving up, he was clearly struggling at 135, guant face etc, at 140 he looks comfortable, yet hes still shaky when he gets caught, so at 147 hes gonna thrown around like a rag doll.

That was different , different because Roach identified Khan was weak in his legs , and he was a very big LW , which lead him to believe he could do better at the bigger weight , Roach is paid handsomely for getting these things right , and this one he got right

The move now is motivated by money , not by whats best for Khan

Big difference , and more risky

This is Khans second venture up, and like I said, he looks comfortable at 140 yet he still gets pushed around, at 147 its gonna be more of the same and worse.

I personally think 140 suits him a lot better. Some LWs and LWWs outweigh him on fight nights. Imagine what the WWs, who can come in as high as 164, will do to a guy who currently is no more than 149?
