Jose Sillyman has stated that the winner of Danny Garcia vs Amir Khan will have to choose to keep only one of the two belts on the line - the WBC or the WBA.

Sillyman says: "The WBC will accept only the WBC. Whoever doesn't want it, the title is vacant."

Last month after unifying the WBC and WBA titles by defeating Akira Yaegashi, Kazuto Ioka was told he would have to vacate one of the belts. Ioka opted to keep the WBA trinket. The same thing happened when Timothy Bradley unified the WBC and WBO belts against Kendall Holt. Bradley chose to keep the WBO version.

As if the myriad of belts was not bad enough, the WBC are now banning unifications. It's time these clowns were run out of boxing...

I guess undisputed means nothing to Suleiman. Gotta believe this is just premature posturing for when Vitali retires. He essentially gives Arreola the title vs, let's say Walker, then let's him hide under a rock from Wlad by claiming he can't unify or he'll be stripped.

Suleiman already protecting the fat slob. F/N pathetic.:think

Hopefully it's just a matter of time until they render themselves obsolete. Perhaps some of the outlets who inform the masses(Ring Mag, HBO, Showtime, Sky etc.) will declare a fighter undisputed who holds every belt with the exception of the hostage WBC belt. **** em, maybe it's time to push back.

EDIT: Hell, from this point on, I shall refer to any fighter who holds the WBA, WBO and IBF as undisputed.(not that it matters anyway)

    Yeah, it is.:admin

However, Wlad is 36 and Vitali is "likely" to fight on should he lose the election. Suleiman will probably drop this horse**** once Wlad retires.:-(
