ESPN2 FNF: Andrzej Fonfara vs. Glen Johnson & Jose Luis Castillo vs. Ivan Popoca RBR

I gave Popoca 3 out of the eight rounds that were fought. JLC looked pretty good... and very good for a shot fighter Good fight while it lasted.

Nice win for JLC to end his career on...Though I suspect it won;t be last time we see him fighting inside the ring. Hope I'm wrong with this particular prediction.

 

He'll get there. I just feel bad that he still has to fight. He needs to be retired and enjoyiing the fruits of his labor, but all of his fruit has been eaten.

I honestly didn't see many hard shots landed after the fourth round. . .

A few here and there, but nothing to deter Poopa from coming forward, letting the hands go. . .


This was a cse where I could see rounds 3-8 going to either guy. . Save round 4, which I thought was a pretty clear Poopa round. . . I just didn't see much landing clean from either. . .

I'd like to see the official scorecards.

 

I hope he gets it this time, or else he just wasted 4 years where he could have been making serious money.

Not heard from him in a while. i remember ESB poster Charles White used to have a lot of interviews with both McCall's not seen Charles in a while either and his Bowe avy.

 

I say we match the total count from last time(110 total). Depends if China can get away with their fake birth certificates again.
