    Round 8: 10-9 Fonfara.

    NOTE: I should be ad******g for the potential of "hometown refs." Heh heh. . . Fonfara very well could have got rounds 6,7.

    Johnson starts off with thudding jab upstairs. . Nice double hooks to the body by Johnson. . Johnson tries to throw a haymaker right hook, and stumbles off balance (That;s that age ****ing with his balance). . . OH nice crisp little 1-2, with the 2 lsnapping GJs head back. . . Lead right by Fonfara. . Nice combination by Fonfara, but Johnson covering up pretty good. Oh NICE 1-2 by Fonfara, but a counter left hook by Johnson as well to end the roudn! ANOTHER CLOSE ROUND. . THis time it swings to FONFARA>

    10-9 Fonfara; 77-75 Johnson.

    The way its going definitely close decision win for Fonfara. Probably not undeserved either.

    Hard overhand right by Johnson, only glancing as Fonfara drops his head back and to the side. Fonfara is circling around and pumping quick flurries off jabs into Johnson's guard. Johnson is loading up on big right hands up top. Fonfara is shaken by them, but continues standing his ground. Fonfara is staying at mid-range. Johnson steps in and ducks into a Fonfara right uppercut, sent sliding along his back. Fonfara throws a 1-2 into the guard. Johnson tries to work the body but can't muster the energy or the emphasis on his punches. Meanwhile Fonfara lights him up with soft little slaps. Clinch. Johnson backs out and is slashed with a three punch combo to the body. Fonfara is showing pretty good hand speed for this late in the fight after being under pressure.
