So the time is here. Fight week has passed and all that remains is to step into the ring and find out who is the best in the 140lb division. I saw Garcia for the last time today when we stepped onto the scales and I looked him in his eyes and could sense that he knew he was stepping into a whole new level. I made the weight so easy for this camp and came in at 139lbs. Big thanks needs to go to Freddie Roach and my new conditioner Ruben Tabares for all their work during this camp. The hardwork is done and now its up to me to get in there and do the business. I know I have all the weapons to make it a really difficult night for him. This morning I woke up around 9.30am because I didnt have a training session and I knew I was already within the limit so I wasnt trying to lose any weight. Everything has been calm and relaxed around me and Im only looking to this fight. HBO did a bit of filming in the morning to use for the show tomorrow and I also met with the HBO team including Max Kellerman, Emmanuel Steward, Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant to talk about the fight. After that I headed off to the mosque for my Jummah prayers, its something thats very important to me. I like to say special prayers before the fight and Friday is always the most important day. I have to say after I came out I felt refreshed and focused. You could feel the tension in the air at the weigh-in and theres no doubt how big a fight this is for me. Weight isnt an issue for either one of us and I knew we would both be within the limit. Tomorrow night I get the chance to finally prove him and all his team wrong. Im going onto another level after this fight and thats my motivation to win this one. Ill be spending the eve of fight night in my hotel room, locked away, just letting my body relax and making sure I get some good rest. I feel in great shape and know what I need to do to win this fight. The night before is a crucial stage for any fighter so Ill be keeping this blog short and sweet. Tomorrow night you all know what Ive promised and I wont disappoint. Im going to dazzle in the desert and once again become the unified king of the light-welterweight division! Tune in or if youre in Vegas come along. This will be one show you wont want to miss. It always amazes me how confident Amir sounds when he writes his blogs... it's as if he knows the future and has no fear.
Read David Haye's... it's better than Amir's. http://www.hayemaker.com/news/article/241/chisoras-next-sound-will-be-a-squeal.aspx
