One of the all time great middleweights against a guy who never fought at the weight. Floyd wouldn't last the distance.

Using the Hearns fight as proof of what? Hearns just wanted to bomb Hagler out. If Hearns boxed like he did vs Benitez, he would have boxed Hagler's ears off. I would have liked to see Benitez vs Hagler. Benitez via embarrassing UD.

The thing is i like Hagler in a fight that could go either way the difference is can Floyd make Marvelous respect his power enough when he counters to keep the fight on the outside and will Marvin power shots land clean on Money. I think Hagler does enough on the inside to win a razor thin dec

Floyd couldnt hurt hagler enough to keep hagler off. To much pressure way to much stamina and way stronger than anybody floyd has ever fought and easily the best fighter hes faced. Hagler on the other hand has faced atleast two or three fighters better than floyd. Marvin could do what cotto did when he won his rounds every round of the fight without worribg about getting hurt. Mayweather could be stopped but it would likely be very boring. I just cant imagine floyd being koed dyde is to defensivly solid

Hagler struggled against boxers, but Floyd has never fought at Middleweight and Hagler is just too big and strong. Hagler wins by tko in the 8th after losing the majority of the rounds.

Are you ****ing ******ed? Why bother even making this topic. Hagler would knock Floyd's lights out. Floyd would be slow as hell at MW.

You have to be kidding me. Mayweather wouldn't even be able to hurt Hagler, we are talking about a boxer who started as a super-featherweight. If you noticed Mayweather in recently he lost a lot of speed. He doesn't move around as much as he used too, and you he will need to be against Hagler, who's bigger and stronger.

Hagler is pretty predictable, and let's not forget Duran started much lighter than Mayweather and gave Hagler all he could handle so let's not act like Hagler could just roll over the genius of a boxer like Mayweather.

Prime Hagler fought 15 Round bouts. Good ol Marv is getting dug in for the Championship rounds when Floyd is used to fights ending. If Hearns didn't KO Hagler in their War then Floyd has no chance to hurt Hagler. Marv would stalk Floyd all night, SMILING while walking through Floyd's potshots, patiently stalking and wearing Mayweather down with body shots.

Realizing his punches aren't affecting Hagler, Floyd gradually loses heart and falls prey to Hagler's pressure in the 7th-8th. Body shots during the 10th slow Floyd down, he becomes less able to dodge and slip. KO in the 12th, left hook to the body followed by straight right to Floyd's grill. Marv stares Floyd down, Money takes the 10 count.

i do think you are an idiot most of the time... but this is a decent thread... i take hagler. Floyd will not be able to keep up with hagler for 12 rounds... but it will be close fight until hagler breaks floyd down.

Again we're talking top 3 MW here. Floyd doesn't even make it into the top 6 WW at best
