    :lol::lol::patsch

    The UFC is a flat joke. Dana and Lorenzo's are liars. Point blank. They're not going to do anything about this. When fighters get caught they just apply for an exemption and its legal again. F'in disgraceful. Dam shame the judges didn't see this fight in Ortiz's favour.

    In advance of his UFC 148 rubber match with Tito Ortiz, Forrest Griffin obtained a therapeutic use exemption for testosterone replacement therapy.

    The exemption was first reported by Pro MMA Radio host Larry Pepe, and MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) subsequently confirmed the decision with Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer were unsuccessful.

    Ortiz told he would consult with his representatives before issuing a statement to the media.

    Griffin bested Ortiz by unanimous decision in the co-main event bout, which took place this past Saturday at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and aired live on pay-per-view. The bout served as Ortiz's retirement bout after the two split a pair of previous fights at UFC 59 and UFC 106.

    Kizer confirmed Griffin's testosterone levels were checked post-fight and were within allowable limits.

    A rep for Griffin was unreachable for comment.

    Griffin is the sixth reported fighter to obtain a therapeutic use exemption in Nevada following Chael Sonnen, who also received one in advance of his title fight against Anderson Silva in the headliner of UFC 148. Following UFC 146 in May, Kizer revealed that Frank Mir, who was unsuccessful in a bid for heavyweight champ Junior Dos Santos' belt, was the fourth fighter.

    Previous fighters to get a TRT exemption in the state include Shane Roller, Todd Duffee and Dan Henderson.

    Griffin was not present at an NSAC meeting on May 21 in which Sonnen was unanimously approved for an exemption. Sonnen was ordered to undergo additional blood testing following a review of medical paperwork justifying his use of TRT.

    Forrest has got old and TRT will help him but as a fighter I don't think he should be allowed to use it.

    From what I know this is my take, perhaps with more information I'll change my mind but I can't see the justification just yet.

    Lol. It never seems to be the champions that use it, always the guys that seemingly need a boost to try to take a belt. Huh, must be a coincidence.

    He abused steroids and threw is natural Axis off went and had tests done and his T levels were low due to supplementing them himself and got an exemption. Literally any fighter could do this. Not sure why this is allowed in MMA and you are right a 26 year old has no business on HRT. None.

    Its natural for male levels to decline with age. its been happening and will continued to happen. Why is this even permitted? The trade off to fighting when you are older is experience.

    Duh, I'm on TRT and don't even fight. :roll: When are you morons going to realize men of all walks of life are using TRT prescribed from doctors and andropause specialists. Get fukin used to it, its not going away.
    The medicine world is evolving and TRT is an incredible blessing to men diagnosed with low levels. Whether it's a fighter, baseball player, couch potato, who the fuk cares. It's prescribed legally for legitimate health reasons.
    It will not make anyone a champion or give them any edge a normal healthy man doesn't already have.

    Fuk me

    Cool story bro...

    At 26 years old?

    Are you telling me that a dude that big who has been wrestling for years at the top level has low testosterone naturally? :lol:

    He has abused his body for years and now he is paying the price... or not I should say. No he gets to have a level of 6:1 in NSAC bouts against my 1:1 because he has "low" testosterone?! :verysad

    This is the poor young lad that has low levels;
