The decision isn't his to take seeing as it is Pacquiao (who is the employer)that pays Roach(his employee) to train him! So ultimately the power and decision sits with Manny Pacquiao. To top it off, Ariza has done a decent job on Pacquiao and so why would MP want to replace him at the *** end of his career?!
RRoach can't hire **** for Pacquiao. . It's Pac's decisoin who he wants to be his S & C coach. . It's completely separate from Roach's strategical preparation, and technical training. . . Since Khan, and Pac are solid friends, I would guess that Khan would give Tabares a rec. to pacquiao, and in turn, Pac COULD hire tabares for his next fight rather than Ariza.
no. why? because pacquiao has 1 or 2 fights left and it is the end of the road and therefor no need for big chances. ariza is a superb ccc and end of the story.
A strength and conditioning coach can't make that big of a difference in one fight, it takes time and some well planned out periodisation to get results.
I must be honest as somebody who studies nutrition and strength gaining techniques coupled together , i have been impressed with what I've seen and heard about Tabarez since i began looking into what he does , and how he gets his results
Pacquiao won't like Ruben.. PAcquiao is too stuborn to change to such an OCD strength and cond coach Pacquiao wouldn't want to change his diet so it just wouldn't work Khan and Tabares work closely together and Khan trusts and listens to him.. Pacquiao wouldn't be.. and Tabares just wouldn't be able to work alongside that Ariza is Pacquiao's man.
