    It's a tough one.

We all know Castillo and Hagler are about equal, well obviously Hagler is bigger, stronger, punches harder, is more technical, a better boxer, more accurate, a better chin, fitter, better level of opposition as well as experience. Apart from
those minor points of course, I'd expect Hagler to possibly do a touch better against Floyd than Castillo did.
Let's not forget that Hagler would not really bring to the table anything that Floyd wouldn't have seen before, while he hasnt fought an elite middleweight (or a middleweight at all) we all know Floyds been knocking off prime HOF junior middles, which would definitely prepare him for Hagler.

Floyd couldn't beat Hagler the way he usually fights at 160. If he tried Hagler would win by stoppage or punishing unanimous decision. If Hearns couldn't hurt Hagler with the bombs he hit him with Floyd couldn't either. If Floyd can't hurt his opponent, his defense suffers. Hagler would pound him, Floyd would make him miss most shots and block many of the others, but Hagler could pound through the guard and land enough to cause serious damage.

If Floyd enters the ring around 147-150 againt a 160 Hagler and the ring is big enough the fight could look a lot like the Diego Corralles fight without the knockdowns. Floyd running around the ring throwing opportunistic shots and never really getting hit much. Neither fighter would be hurt in the fight but Floyd would win nearly every round. Basically what Leonard did to Hagler with more movement. We know two things about these fighters: Hagler could out punch and out power Floyd and Floyd could outbox Hagler.

This is why this thread is so ridiculous. I know this is a boxing site but the problem is most posters are in their 20's and don't have a god damn clue about what they are talking about.

So far Mayweather has beaten two jr middleweights, one of whom was
clearly over the hill and exactly 0 middleweights, and all of a sudden he's going to beat one of the top middleweights in history.

That makes sense. How old's he going to be when he does this, mid 40's early 50's

I think any prime come forward with good chin type all time greats (Hagler, Chavez, etc) would give Mayweather hell.
